[MOD POST] LJ Content Strike 21 March
Hello to all you ugly 3Worlds denizens~ This is Mod Yumichika here with an important announcement~

First of all, I am beautiful!

Second of all, some of you may have heard about the LiveJournal Content Strike that is being held this Friday from midnight to midnight GMT. This strike is supposed to address issues such as the removal of Basic Accounts, the censoring of the popular interests list, and SUP's refusal to inform the userbase about either decision publicly until after people had found out and complained.

To participate in the strike, all you have to do is not post or comment to any journal within that 24-hour period. The effect this will have is a massive drop in LJ's daily activity statistics, and it is intended to serve as a message to the owners of LiveJournal that it is the userbase that makes this community great.

We the moderatorship of this community feel that the removal of Basic Accounts, and in particular LiveJournal's attitude toward said accounts, reflects a lack of recognition on the part of SUP of the large roleplaying community here on LJ. Their openly stated assumption was that people do not make more than one LiveJournal account, and thus no one will miss the Basic Accounts because they would either already have one or not want one.

Therefore, we are asking that everyone on 3Worlds please refrain from posting in the community or commenting to community posts during the content strike. Whether you choose to participate in your other RPs or with your private journal is entirely up to you, but we would ask that you observe the strike here, if nowhere else.

If you have any questions about the strike, or about 3Worlds' participation in it, please feel free to either post a question here or IM Mod Yumi (Alma Oceanica) with your questions.

Thank you, and now back to your regularly scheduled admiration of my beauty.

Fer someone who's so sure they're beautiful, ya sure say it pretty often.

Though I ain't 'bout ta deny it.

Ta tha second... yeah. Since they ain't respondin' ta challenges fer a sword-fight, we gotta do things this way.
